included in Allan McCollum's exhibition:

THE EVENT:
Petrified Lightning from Central Florida
(with Supplemental Didactics)
.

These texts on lightning and fulgurites were gathered by
the artist from various historical, scholastic, journalistic,
and World Wide Web sources. They were edited by him to
supplement his fulgurite exhibits, and are placed here for
both artistic and educational purposes, and may not be used
for any other purpose without permission from the authors.

In order to access these texts, Adobe's free Acrobat Reader
will need to be installed on your computer.

Simply click on a booklet name, and a new window will open
to display a complete printable version of that booklet.
Please be patient while downloading the files with slower
connection speeds. We have tried to balance download time
and image quality, but some files remain large. If you encounter
any problems contact Don Fuller, New Media Curator at the
University of South Florida Contemporary Art Museum
